Dr. Jules White is Senior Advisor to the Chancellor, Director of Vanderbilt’s Initiative on the Future of Learning & Generative AI, and a Computer Science Professor at Vanderbilt University. He created an early online class in Prompt Engineering, with over 290,000 enrollments, and has published over 170 papers. He is a National Science Foundation CAREER Award recipient and has won multiple Best Paper Awards.

Victoria Lansdown

AI Education Instructional Designer

Victoria Lansdown has a strong background in eLearning, with a focus on developing online programs for adults looking to upskill. She has led the creation of several AI-focused training resources for many leaders in this space, including projects at Google with Synergis IT + Creative. Collaborating with academic and industry teams, Lansdown has delivered user-centric content on various Learning Management Systems. Lansdown continues to tailor her approach to training development as our understanding of AI expands.

Jarrad Merlo

AI Product Manager, Pearson

Jarrad Merlo taught English for ten years in Australia, Indonesia, and South Korea before co-founding E2Language, a successful tech and tutoring company. E2Language educated millions of PTE, IELTS, TOEFL, and OET candidates via its platform and YouTube channels. At OET, Jarrad designed a digital-first English language test and now at Pearson, he develops innovative technologies for language testing.

Kacper Łodzikowski

Vice President, AI Learning Capabilities

Kacper Łodzikowski is the Vice President of AI Capabilities at Pearson. His group focuses on natural language processing, computational psychometrics, human-computer interaction, and ethical AI governance. He is also a linguistics researcher and AI lecturer at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland.

Ilya Gogin

Director, Product Management

Ilya Gogin, Pearson's Product Management Director, advances language learning tech adoption. Previously, an Instructional Designer, he developed AI features and taught ESL in New York. With a TESOL Master's, he explores generative AI and XR for language learning.
